Problem Statement
-
Various forces and departments mentioned earlier, including security, military, and paramilitary organizations, share a common challenge: the need for communication on the move. Their dynamic operations, especially for field staff without access to office landlines or intercom facilities, create a significant hurdle.
Solution
-
To address this challenge, the concept of "Wireless Communication" emerges as a fundamental solution. Throughout India, state security forces, military, and paramilitary organizations utilize UHF/VHF wireless communication systems. They enable quick coordination between officers in the field and central command, facilitating rapid responses to emergencies, sharing critical information, and enhancing overall public safety. They enable quick coordination between officers in the field and central command, facilitating rapid responses to emergencies, sharing critical information, and enhancing overall public safety.

Across India, public safety departments predominantly utilize UHF Band 5-Watt Portable Radios.
ANALOG LICENSE RADIO
-
To meet the need for communication over larger areas, base radios with 25-watt output and repeaters with 25 to 50 watts in analog mode are employed. This configuration provides extended range and broader coverage.

PoC RADIO
PoC RADIO
Problem Statement
-
Traditional point-to-point radio communication, both licensed and license-free, has a limited range of around 100 kilometres, even with the use of base stations or repeaters. However, certain critical departments like Civil Defence, State Disaster Management Services, and State Police require long-distance communication spanning state boundaries. Previously, HF communication was used, but it suffered from environmental noise and required Morse code transmission.
Solution
-
With the advancement of technology, the introduction of Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) has revolutionized long-distance communication. It eliminates heavy noise factors and significantly reduces the high infrastructure costs associated with HF systems, making communication more efficient and cost-effective for these essential departments. STC-720S & SCM-760S enable real-time communication, location monitoring, and quick access to databases, enhancing situational awareness and operational efficiency for law enforcement personnel.

HOW A POC RADIO SYSTEM WORKS

Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) integrates individual instant communication into the global GSM network, where each PoC radio requires a SIM card for network identification.
However, for public safety departments with existing short-distance point-to-point networks developed over decades, transitioning to PoC for long-distance communication can be impractical. Sanchar has introduced an innovative solution, "PACS" (PoC to Analogue System) and "PDCS" (PoC to Digital System), bridging the gap.
These systems enable seamless communication between legacy networks and the modern PoC network, ensuring efficient long-distance communication while preserving existing infrastructure.

CAMERA
-
Sanchar's "Body Worn Camera" (BWC) and "Dashboard Camera" (DC) solutions offer an ideal answer to the demand for dynamic surveillance. These versatile cameras, equipped with various features for live video capture and real-time streaming to a central location, have the potential to significantly enhance crime control efforts by enabling mobile and dynamic surveillance operations. SBWC-01 & SBWC-04 capture video and audio footage during interactions with the public. They provide transparency, accountability, and valuable evidence in investigations. SDC-01 installed in police vehicles record incidents and traffic stops from the officer's perspective. They serve as objective records of law enforcement activities, aiding in dispute resolution, officer training, and ensuring adherence to departmental procedures.

Solution
-
Ensuring effective crime control is a paramount task for the Public Safety Department, and deploying a truly efficient surveillance system poses a challenge. Traditional CCTV systems are stationary and not suited for dynamic operations. To address this, a need arises for advanced surveillance systems that can operate in dynamic conditions.

BREATH ALCOHOL ANALYZER
Problem Statement
-
The rise in alcohol addiction among the general population has made it increasingly challenging for today's civil society to effectively manage and control man-made road accidents. This has become a significant concern for the Public Safety Department, hindering their ability to enforce comprehensive traffic rules.
Solution
-
Sanchar Communication System has introduced an innovative gadget designed to address this issue. This device seamlessly integrates with vehicles to instantly detect alcohol levels in drivers. When high alcohol levels are detected, it immobilizes the vehicle and alerts authorities, providing a robust solution to combat alcohol-related accidents and enhance overall road safety. SBAA-01 & SBAA-02 determine if individuals are operating vehicles under the influence of alcohol. They play a vital role in enforcing DUI laws, promoting road safety, and reducing the risk of accidents caused by impaired drivers.
